There are 2 aspects to a general visit to our clinic; a check up, or examination and the cleaning, or oral prophylaxis. At the dental check up one of our dental professionals will check for cavities. X-rays may be required to detect cavities between your teeth. Our dental exam will also include a check for tartar and plaque on your teeth.
