Dr. Anju Birdi

Dr. Anju is a dedicated professional with a deep passion for dentistry since childhood, 

After moving to Canada she started working as a dental assistant, a role that provided invaluable insights into patient care and strengthened her ability to communicate. Her multilingual proficiency allows her to connect with a diverse range of patients, ensuring they feel understood and comfortable. After going through a vigorous testing and examination process she earned her Dentistry License from National Dental Examination Board of Canada.

Dr. Anju is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association and holds certification from the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals, underscoring her commitment to professional excellence and ongoing education in dentistry. Her particular interests in restorative and cosmetic dentistry highlight her dedication to enhancing both the health and aesthetics of her patients’ smiles.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Anju finds joy in family life in Surrey, where she resides with her husband and two daughters. Her love for travel, enjoyment of games with her children, and passion for exploring new recipes underscore her vibrant personality and zest for life.

Dr. Anju takes pride in her role as a valued member of the Apollo dental team, where she contributes to a supportive and experienced environment focused on delivering top-quality care to every patient. Her enthusiasm for dentistry, combined with her compassionate approach and continuous pursuit of knowledge, ensures that each patient receives personalized and positive dental experiences under her care.

Dr. Prabhjot Shergill

Dr. Prabhjot Shergill wanted to be a dentist from a young age and continues to enjoy learning more about her chosen field. While she practices general dentistry, she has a particular interest in pediatrics, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. She enjoys getting to know her patients through communication and sharing personal experiences. She endeavors to make a visit to the dentist less stressful. Every person is different, and Prabhjot understands her patient’s individualities. She makes every effort to provide a personalized approach to each of her patients.

Even after moving to Canada with her family, her passion for Dentistry didn’t let her stay away from it. Right away she started working as a Dental Assistant while preparing for her Licensing Exams for the National Dental Examination Board of Canada. After tedious hard work and dedication, she passed all her exams in the first attempt and got her well-deserved Dentist License. She is a member of the Canadian Dental Association in good standing and is certified by the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia. Along with practicing dentistry she also taught Dental Clinical Skills at Pacific Oral Health Institute in South Surrey.

Dr. Shergill enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry and provides special care for children. “I enjoy treating entire families. As a mother of two myself I have a special place in my heart for children, I strive to make their visits to the Apollo Dental a fun and positive experience.” She takes the time to foster professional, long-lasting relationships with her patients, who she believes should be encouraged to act as co-therapists in their own dental treatment & care. She is fluent in English Punjabi, Hindi, Bhojpuri, and Urdu.

Dr. Shergill lives in Surrey with her husband and two angelic kids. She enjoys traveling, watching movies, bird watching, and target shooting. She loves to read and spends a lot of time researching new materials and technologies. The science of Dentistry is changing rapidly and she insists on using the best techniques to achieve superlative and long-lasting results
